Beeston Hall is not academically selective; we simply aim to identify pupils who are able to benefit from our balanced and well-rounded education, therefore enabling them to reach their potential. The ability range of pupils is wide. We stretch the most able and support those with any learning difficulties they may have so that they are ready or able to meet challenges and reach beyond them.
If you would like to consider a place at Beeston for your child, we would encourage you to come and visit us. The Headmaster would be delighted to give you a tour of the school, and introduce you to staff and pupils.
As part of the entry process all pupils will have a taster day and will be given an informal assessment within this to establish their current level of ability and likely potential.
Scholarship days are held in the Lent term to attract children with particular talents and families who appreciate the benefits of a Beeston education. No public honour is attached to a scholarship, as we believe such labels for younger children are not necessarily helpful, but all scholarships carry a very small fee remission which can be underpinned by bursary assistance if the financial circumstances of an individual family necessitate it. All awards are conditional upon upholding of the values and ethos of the school.

If you feel your child would enjoy Beeston, the next step would be to complete the Registration Form. This ensures that your child will be given priority and that you are kept in touch with developments in the school.
A year before entry, we will then ask for a first term deposit to secure your child’s place.
